PHOTOGRAPH - This is Max Crossman's business picture. He had only recently come to Pawlet when this picture was taken. He was the new doctor in town and the business picture took preference over the family portrait although that was taken just a short time later. There was a debate between Max and Chris, his wife, as to where the family portrait should be done.
