INTERVIEW EXCERPT

Gordon:

"As you grow older you get wiser. I joined the church just this year. I'll tell ya just how it happened. She went to Rutland Hospital and had her - kidney taken out, and the doctor said she was in bad shape it was a bad operation. But the doctor brought her out of that, and I thought the Lord must be on her side, so I thought I'd join the church, and, maybe, the Lord might help me sometime. By going to the minister and telling him the story - he says, 'You know Dorothy's 'going to heaven.' So I thought, I'd kinda like to be with her. You see what the idea was?"
