Le joli tour qui m’est arivé
J’étais étranger, dans la place
On m’invitais pour aller au bal
Encore bien plus pour m’encourager
On m’introduit une compagne
C’était une belle gross jolie fille
Qui peusait just quatre cent trante bis

Quand la veille fut arive
As bien fallut m’apareille
J’ai mis ma montre deux piastre
Aussi ma chaine en filasse
Je m’suis permit de mettre un cole blanc
J’avais pas d’l’air trop habitant

On m’introduit ma compagné
C’etait une belle grosse jolie fille
Qui peusait juste quatre cent trante-sis
J’était le p’tit homme de courage
Qu’etait assi a ses coté

La premiere chose qu’elle m’a demandé
Messier voulez vous vous marier
De l’œil gauche je la regard
Et du droite je vise la porte
La premiere chance que j’vas avoir
