Abstract

Sunday after Vespers, guess who I met? Jean Gauthier’s daughter, who took me home; she opened the door and said: “Sir, come in”; Have a seat, come warm yourself”; “It’s not the fire I want, it’s a girl to marry; when we are married, we can cuddle; the old lady won’t always be around keeping an eye on us.”
Refrain:
