Coming Out From Fardina’s House

First Line

En sortant d’chez Fardina

Transcription

-1-

En sortant d’chez Fardina
Clapo sent le cœur content
Mais en sortant de chez Fabiola
Plus que ça va plus que ça raccolle

Refrais
Plus plus plus mais cependant
Les pieds plus légers que la tête
Plus, plus plus, mais cependant
Clapo fait son jour de l’an

-2-

Le jour de l’an au matin
Il est prompt sur le chemin
Il embarque dans sa carriole
Les pieds comme une croquignol

-3-

-6-

Chez lui, sa femme l’a couché
Après l’avoir déchaussé
Il dormit 48 heures
Sans sortir de sa demeure

-7-

Au bout de la 2ième journée
Il commence à s’étirer
Il se sent mas à son aise
La tête lourde, la bouche épaisse

Translation

-1-

When coming out from Fardina’s house
Clapo’s heart is happy
But when leaving Fabiola’s house
The more it goes the more……(?)

Refrain:
More more more but however
Feet lighter than one’s head
More more more but however
Clapo makes his New Year’s day

-2-

The morning of New Year’s day
He is prompt on the path
Gets into his cart
His feet like a fritter

-3-

Clapo loses his hat
His horse thinks it’s a pail of water
He loses his gloves
His horse thinks it’s oats

-4-

Coming at the end of the “rang”
His horse starts at full gallop
Clapo flies off his seat
End on all four in a snow bank

-5-

Arthemise happens to pass by
Comes to pick him up
Pulls him by the seat of his pants
Takes him off in her sled

-6-

At home his wife put him to bed
After taking off his shoes
He slept 4-8 hours
Without leaving home

-7-

At the end of the second day
He starts to stretch
He feels out of sorts
His head heavy, his mouth thick
