INTERVIEW EXCERPT
Harriet: (Born July 30, 1877)
"There seems to be a great many more people here, than there was, a great many more. Lots of people of course I wouldn't know anyway because I'm an older person than most everyone here. There's many changes in the way people live - very much, oh so much. You can hardly imagine they live so differently than they did then. Very wasteful now - very wasteful, and they used to try to economize, but not so now. They have what they want."
