REFER - picture of Rod with his new wife, Debbie
When this picture was taken, Rod was working on the Bob Graf farm. The house he is standing in front of is Graf's tenant house. After he and Debbie were married, they moved up the road a bit to live in a house belonging to Tim Leach, but Rod continued to work on the Graf farm.
PHOTOGRAPH - Wright Morris, the photographer and writer, referred to this photograph as the ultimate hired man picture.
By fall 1987, Rod and Debbie are living in another of Tim's houses in the same neighborhood, and Rod is working for Tim.
